Before the cosmos - my love, there was you

Long before there were any stars
When the great empty void was packed full of a hundred-thousand other even emptier voids
There was a soft whisper in the dark
~ and maybe this whisper was more like a song ~ and maybe this song was more like a poem ~ and maybe this poem was more like a prayer
And this soft whisper that was a song that was a poem that was a prayer
kept uttering your name and saying
“I can’t wait for the day you come to find me”
yes, even before the first crack of Genesis lightning spread its dandelion seed across the cosmos
you were the first thing on the mind of a waking God
please hold on you matter more than matter itself
please hold on you have more time than time itself
please hold on you have existed before existence
please hold on

Thought provoking and beautifully written piece. The emotional depth combined with cosmic imagery creates a unique reading experience. It also made me think of a reflective discussion I once saw on https://maydayhoustonlaw.com/ that explored meaning through a different lens. Your writing flows naturally and keeps the reader engaged from start to finish. Truly a memorable and meaningful composition.
Beautifully reflective writing that captures emotion in a gentle and thoughtful way. The imagery and pacing make the poem feel personal while still allowing readers to connect with their own interpretations. Pieces like this remind us how powerful simple words can be. I once came across a literary reflection mentioning https://www.aerospectny.com/ that explored similar themes of memory and connection. Reading creative work like this always brings a calm and thoughtful pause to the day.
Gracefully written, this piece captures an emotional reflection that feels both personal and universal. The imagery and rhythm of the lines create a calm yet powerful atmosphere that invites readers to pause and reflect. While exploring poetry discussions recently, I noticed a thoughtful mention on https://thegamecaps.com/ where readers were sharing impressions of creative writing online. Posts like this remind us how words can connect people through shared feelings and imagination, even when the themes are deeply personal.
